If you are a UK national who moved to Bulgaria, Norway, or Greece before the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020, and you want to retain your residence rights in one of these countries, you can do so simply if:
You meet the conditions necessary to benefit from the Withdrawal Agreement (Bulgaria or Greece) or EEA EFTA Separation Agreement (Norway), and
You complete the necessary administrative formalities set out by the country you live in.
To check if you meet the conditions necessary to benefit from the Agreements and if the AIRE Centre can assist you with completing the necessary administrative formalities, please take the quiz for the country that applies to your situation.
In the quiz, you will be asked a series of questions to help you find out whether you are eligible to benefit from the Withdrawal Agreement or EEA EFTA Separation Agreement.
Once completed you will be told whether you are eligible to apply for a residence document as a beneficiary of the Withdrawal Agreement or the Separation Agreement, or whether you should seek further legal assistance about your residence status.
We cannot guarantee that the results of this assessment will always be 100% accurate and should not be relied upon as legal assistance. If you are unsure about any details, or if your circumstances are not covered by the questions, please contact The AIRE Centre.
